Emigh Litch graduated from Waynes State University with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1977. She worked for four years on an inpatient infectious disease unit at Children’s Hospital of Michigan before becoming nurse coordinator for the Hemophilia Treatment Center in 1982. She worked alongside of bleeding disorder pioneer Dr. Jeanne M. Lusher and assisted in making the HTC what it is today. Emigh stepped down as nurse coordinator in 1989 when she became a mother, but stayed with the HTC and continues to provide excellent care and is a valuable resource to her coworkers. She assists with the coordination of care and provision of education for patients that are diagnosed with bleeding disorders. Emigh is part of the comprehensive care team and is dedicated to the bleeding disorder communituy. She loves travelling to her ranch in Colorado and spending time with her family!
