Michelle Hyde is a graduate from the University of Michigan’s nursing program in 2007.  She worked for 14 years on a pediatric inpatient unit in Flint, Michigan.  In 2021, she joined the team at Jeanne M. Lusher Center for Hemostasis and Thrombosis. Since then, she discovered her passion for all things thrombosis!  She proudly works beside her mentors, Dr. Madhvi Rajpurkar and Cyntha Sabo, CPNP, to improve the treatment and care for patients diagnosed with clotting disorders.  She is a member of the FWGBD’s thrombosis and nursing subcommittees, the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team for Children’s Hospital of Michigan and the Thrombosis committee for Children’s Hospital of Michigan.  She is also a wonderful addition to the bleeding disorder team, and is one of the registered nurses who cares for patients diagnosed with bleed disorders.  In January 2024, Michelle because the Nurse Coordinator of the Jeanne M. Lusher Center of Hemostasis and Thrombosis and manages the coordination of clinical care for patients that are diagnosed with bleeding and clotting disorders.
